My Magic Trackpad Follow Up

Some thoughts on my Magic Trackpad after a couple of weeks of use:
Pros:
- Large realestate track pad makes navigation and moving about easy
- Sensitive pad doesnt require much pressure
- A physical click feature built into the pad for those that want that physical feedback
- Smooth movement and precise control
- The multi-touch gesture capability makes quick work of navigating through documents/websites/spaces/etc.
- Bluetooth connectivity allows you to position the pad anywhere for optimal comfort. No wires to get in the way.
- Great looking device for those concerned with asthetics
Cons
- Sensitivity sometimes causes erroneous movement/selections
- As with any new technology there is a learning curve, with the Magic Trackpad’s size and it’s multi-gesture capability you’re going to be using more fingers. My hand got tired quickly during the first few days of use.
- This problem is not unique to the Magic Trackpad, but if you have moist/wet fingers you’ll find navigating difficult
Overall I’d give this 4.5 out of 5 stars. My only issue was that it doesnt have as many functions available at my fingertips as my old 4 button/1 wheel trackball. However, the tradeoff between the features of the trackball for the comfort and better tracking of the trackpad made the switch a no brainer.
